Today is kind of a big deal. It’s release day for Jay Walking, my third book! I feel as though it’s been out for months because it’s been on pre-order since June!
Caching In is the first book in the “Pastime Pursuits” series and in it you meet Chelsea. In Jay Walking, fast forward two years later and she’s a single mom determined to get fit and healthy. Here’s the blurb:
Chelsea Wyatt, a single mom trying to build a life for her and her son, is sick of the body she sees in the mirror. A daily diet of Cookie Crisp cereal is not doing wonders for her mood or her figure, and it’s time for a change. Setting out to get fit, she commits herself to a daily walking plan, forcing herself to give up her all-sugar and carb diet, a difficult task at her donut obsessed job.
But her plan goes sideways when a stumble on the ice puts her in the arms of Jay, an attractive young man out on a run. They grab coffee together, and Chelsea finds herself thinking about him long after their short meeting. The thought of dating again hadn’t crossed her mind in years, and she doesn’t even know if Jay is available, or if he would be interested in her despite her unfit body.
Just when she has a handle on her new routine, her past catches up with her, throwing her blossoming relationship with Jay and the rest of her life into chaos. Can Chelsea hold onto the people she loves most, or will a wrong turn set her up for failure?
This book was so much fun for me to write and I worked on it for a long time. You can read it as a stand-alone novel, or read Caching In first. It doesn’t really matter. Good news, though, Caching In is FREE while I am on my book tour!
What’s that? A book tour? I sure am! Visit my Facebook page daily at http://www.facebook.com/KrimmerAuthor to see where I am each day!
In the picture at the top of the post, you’ll notice my awesome newspaper print Jamberry nails. These are super cool and I combined them with my New York Color Black Lace Creme (119) for what I’m calling “Release Day Nails!” I’m new at application and learning. I plan to use these more often and am toying with becoming a consultant. We’ll see.
Today I plan on relaxing and enjoying coffee and conversation with a friend at Starbucks. I’ve been getting plain coffee when I go there, but today I am SPLURGING and getting a White Chocolate Mocha with the whip (and probably a pump or two of raspberry). Probably a pastry as well!
Celebrate with me today and pick up your free copy of Caching In and snag Jay Walking at the $2.99 price before it goes up to $3.99!
Have I mentioned I have a short story, “Mixtapes & Rollerskates” in a summer anthology titled Girls of Summer? That’s free as well – so grab it!
