O is for Owl!

#ATOZChallenge @tkrimms

When thinking of an O word for the challenge today, I was also in the middle of thinking of ideas how to celebrate my one-year anniversary as a published romance author. I’ve been contemplating different giveaways I can have and how to present them. Suddenly, owls came to mind. Why? You’ll see.

I’ve always loved owls. They are one of those beautiful creatures that spark so much curiosity in me. They are gorgeous, and look so incredibly soft (I’ve never tried to pet one, have you? Hehe). They have enormous eyes and they represent so many things. For me, personally, they represent peace. In different cultures, owls represent wisdom, mystery, transition, messages, intelligence, mysticism, protection, or secrets.

Cute Vector Owl. "Hoooot" cardHow exactly does an owl fit into my book anniversary? Technically, they don’t. In Pieces of it All, there is absolutely no owl. However, there is a tad bit of mystery, a young girl transitioning into a woman, secrets from the past, and a message that comes across different from other books I’ve read. Pieces of it All isn’t your typical romance … this book is so much more than that. It’s more about loving yourself and recognizing what’s best for you. As much as we want everyone to be saved and be better people, it doesn’t always happen.

To celebrate the anniversary of my first published romance, I’m having a giveaway. This is for my NEWSLETTER SUBSCRIBERS ONLY. If you love owls, and you like tiny notebooks, this is the one for you. Newsletters subscribers are automatically entered to win these two notebooks. ONE winner will be chosen on May 9, 2015 to win this:
