When I wrote my first book, Pieces of it All, I required silence. I couldn’t write with any noise. As I moved onto my next book, my process changed and I found it much easier to write with music. I started to create playlists for each book with songs that were inspired by certain scenes in the book.
Sometimes I add to these lists after the book has been published. I may be listening to the radio and a song strikes a nerve so I add it. I love listening to the songs and reliving the story in my mind.
